I am new to Granby, having lived here only 2 weeks. I moved for a job, and one of the questions I asked during my interview was if there was a good old-school diner where I would be able to get a great cheeseburger (you know the kind... crispy edges and juicy center) and some good old-fashioned crinkle-cut fries and a chocolate shake. Everyone in the meeting emphatically said, " Debbie's!" Today was my first day to visit, and I was not disappointed! My burger was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The bun and the veggies were fresh, the fries were hot and seasoned well, and I loved dipping them in the spicy mayo! (To each their own, people.) The chicken was also hot and juicy, and the sauces complemented the chicken so well. I ordered a pup patty for my dog, which he devoured in record time. The only thing missing was a shake, and I wanted to save something for the next visit. I placed my order online and it was due to be ready at 4:15, I walked through the door at 4:00 and about 5 minutes later had my food. Holla! The staff was very friendly - with me, and with themselves, which I always enjoy seeing. The space was clean and reminiscent of an old diner for sure. I am so happy to have found this place, and I'm so thankful to the people who recommended Debbie's to me. You have a new lifelong customer! Thank y'all for your delicious food and your lovely hospitality. I'll be back!
Had to make a trip to the hardware store in Granby. How convenient that a hamburger stand was next door! I had the Farm double cheeseburger with carmelized onions. All their burgers come with "groovy sauce", which is a mixture of mayo, mustard, ketchup, and relish. The buns are very light and fluffy. My husband had the original, and he commented that it was gooey ( a compliment). We both had malts, and they were very delicious. I had strawberry, and it was too thick for the straw. The decor is of a 50's era diner complete with 50's music played at an acceptable level so as not to interfere with conversation. Outdoor seating is charming and accented with a fully restored Ford Ranchero of the time period. The menu offers a varied selection of burgers, and a separate menu offers deli sandwiches. I would recommend this stop to anyone passing by or staying in the area. Hours are daily from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Cute little diner with affordable prices for this resort area. Love the groovy sauce. Staff is very nice and helpful. My go-to for lunch as local. Seating area outside. Self ordering option on kiosk inside. The drive thru angle is super tight due to neighboring property fence. The Fitch Family has turned this place into a great restaurant with Fitch Ranch beef.
Sooo good! Just straight up, no fluff, tasty burgers. Shakes were smooth and delicious. We went here twice in 4 days.
Service was incredible! Nothing can beat a classic burger with french fries. Perfectly hot and crispy crinkle french fries, nice and salty. This is not a place if you want an extravagant burger. But a simple cheeseburger with ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion and special sauce, can’t be beat. (They do have a BBQ and a green chile option.) End with a milkshake. Cheap and great! We stuck with chocolate and strawberry. Strawberry has that classic childhood Nesquik taste. YUM.
Okay I gotta say this place exceeded expectations! For a fast food joint, the chicken tenders were top notch. The crinkle fries were a bit salty but still very good. Their special sauce was They have drive thru, sit in, or order at your car! So many options
Although it was last month when we stopped at Debbie’s, it’s definitely worth returning to review - and returning to eat again, if possible. From friendly service to pleasant, interesting decor to excellent burgers, Debbie’s is a great choice. Easy to find right on Hwy 40 before the turn to Hwy 34, it’s a great pick on the route to RMNP. Indoor and outdoor seating, too.
Debbie's is delicious. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly all the vegetables were fresh and the bun was perfect. Debbie's takes pride in fast really delicious food. We ate here twice during our vacation. I wish we had a Debbie's in our town
